Ancient Bread Co. began with a simple desire — to share with our former Salisbury Rug & Carpet Cleaning clients, and the rest of our community, one simple food, bread.  From the start of creation, God brought forth bread from the earth by gaving man wisdom to plant, grow, harvest, and create bread from a seed to a fresh baked loaf that nourishes and sustains every living being.  We want to share our love for this process by bringing wholesome, artisan, handmade, and quality baked goods back to the neighborhood.  

What started as a desire has grown over the past two years into an opportunity.  An opportunity that we hope to be able to share from our family kitchen tradition rooted in slow fermentation, real ingredients, and the belief that good bread should be shared.

We bake everything in small batches, by hand, using time-honored methods that have nourished families for generations. From our classic sourdough loaves to our soft-centered chocolate chip cookies and warm cinnamon rolls, every item is crafted with care, patience, and purpose.

Our mission is simple:
Bake with love & integrity. Serve our community. Break bread with one another while sharing a meal.

We love building relationships with our customers — many of whom we’ve served for years through our former small business. Today, we’re grateful to continue serving you in a new way: through breads and baked goods made right here at home, with the same attention to detail and hospitality you’ve come to expect from us.
